@David, I have exactly the same hardware - Lenovo Y530 which differs in strores only in GPU, ammount and type of RAM and CPU, also checked PCI vendor code and codecs - the same. Should I try vanilia kernel or alsa from sources or is this problem with whole 2.6.35 line?
