This is still a problem in 11.1. Moreover, it has a nasty side effect in OpenOffice 3.0.0. As a result of this, the "bold" and "italic" buttons on the text toolbar are disabled, and "ctrl-b" shortcut doesn't work. It is possible to change typeface from the "format character" toolbar, but this is very slow. Makes OO extremely inconvenient to use for text editing if font formatting changes are necessary.
