@Gursimran I think you posted the wrong bug #. Nevertheless, I have already used VirtualBox to determine the initialization sequence and multitouch protocol; see post #94. Furthermore, Takashi Iwai from Open Suse has released patches to enable experimental multitouch support to the Xorg-devel mailing list. There was a lot of talk a while ago regarding this issue, but it looks like it has quieted down lately.
