Just a heads up, I use Xmonad as the Gnome window manager and this patch somewhat broke Xmonad for me. Xmonad, by default, uses a combination of "Mod+p" (what "Mod" is is configurable, in my case I've set it to the Super_L) to open the Gnome run dialog. So after getting the latest updates, pressing "Super+p" just flashes the screen briefly and does not open the Gnome run application dialog, as it did before. I assume that this is the new assumed behavior, related to video modes.
This machine is _not_ a Dell or a HP laptop. It's a self-built desktop with Asus P5Q, Intel Q9550, Nvidia GTX 260 using the Nvidia proprietary drivers. So is there any way to disable this new behavior, or is it really hard- coded to gnome-settings-daemon?
