Your "closing" is bogus. It's clearly wrongheaded behaviour for Eye of Gnome to open a .gif file, yet refuse to allow you to save that .gif file. My wife uses Thunderbird for email and opened an attachment which was a .gif file then wanted to save that same file, unchanged. Eye of Gnome threw up a confusing message saying that it was unable to save that file, despite having the raw bytes sitting right there on its input.
This is either: a) a valid bug in Eye of Gnome, or alternatively; b) a bug in Ubuntu using Eye of Gnome as the default viewer for .gif files. -- Unable to save as .gif https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/614936 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Registry Administrators, which is the registrant for Eye of GNOME. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~registry Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~registry More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
