tried on ubuntu 10.10's bundled version 0.7.2 and the current trunk with the ntfs-3g driver but couldn't reproduce your bug. i then wanted to check with the old read-only kernel module (in case you were using that one) but it seems you can't have that in ubuntu anymore.. i doubt that you were indeed using the old kernel driver - would you mind confirming this?
