Public bug reported: Phoronix Test Suite Benchmarking Utility can't be started from "Applications" ->"System Tools" menu, because file /usr/share/applications/phoronix-test-suite.desktop doesn't run interactive session). Currently when I click on "Applications" ->"System Tools"->"Phoronix Test Suite" launcher, I see a terminal window get open for 1 second ( it is not possible to read what is written in the terminal) and then terminal windows closes automatically and nothing happens. phoronix-test-suite.desktop should either launch a GUI application or a persistent (interactive) console session. Currently PTS 3.x doesn't have a GUI mode, so, word "interactive" should be added in line "Exec=phoronix-test-suite" in phoronix-test-suite.desktop file:
