Deadline for MCRSA Conference Paper & Session Proposals Extended to April 15

I have had numerous requests to extend the April 1 deadline for regular paper
proposal submissions for the Mid-Continent Regional Science Association annual
conference. I've been accommodating those requests and decided to announce a
general extension of the deadline. For those who submitted on time, we will
issue invitations to participate in about a week.

The Mid-Continent Regional Science Association will host their 42nd annual
conference June 8-10, 2011 in Detroit, Michigan. All persons wishing to submit
an abstract or session proposal for the MCRSA conference are encouraged to do
so electronically via e-mail to John Leatherman at [email protected] by
April 15, 2011. Notification of paper acceptance will be made as soon as
possible after receipt of the abstract proposal.

Information can be found at the MCRSA Website: www.mcrsa.org

Early registrants will enjoy a reduced meeting registration fee of $180. In
addition, a special reduced fee for students will once again be in effect. The
full student registration fee is $60.

You can either download a conference registration form from the MCRSA Website,
or register and pay online at the North American Regional Science Council
(NARSC) Website <www.narsc.org>. Click on the User Area link and sign in or
register. Once into the User Area, click on the Register link and select MCRSA
2011 to make your purchases.

The meeting will take place at the Westin Book Cadillac Detroit hotel in
downtown Detroit. We're getting a great rate ($139/night). Participants should
contact the hotel directly at (888) 627-7150 or (800) WESTIN1 and indicate
participation in the Mid-Continent Regional Science Association conference.

Feel free to contact me if you have questions about participating in the
MCRSA's 42nd Annual Conference. Please share this information with others who
may have interest.
