RRI Summer Courses In Spatial Econometrics

Following their inaugural success last summer, the Regional Research Institute 
at West Virginia University announces its second series of four summer courses 
in Spatial Econometrics for 2012.  The courses are organized into a format that 
includes morning (theoretical) lectures and afternoon computer labs.  The 
course objectives are to provide a comprehensive treatment of various spatial 
econometrics techniques for use in applied research. 

The scheduled courses are:

- Introduction to Spatial Econometrics  (June 11 - June 13)
- Spatial Econometrics I (June 14 - June 16)
- Spatial Econometrics II (June 18 - June 20)
- Introduction to Bayesian Spatial Econometrics (June 21 - June 23)

All courses will be taught by Don Lacombe and Gianfranco Piras.

Important Dates:

Applications accepted as of February 3, 2012 
Application Deadline: March 16, 2012 
Acceptance Notification: March 30, 2012
Confirm Participation by April 20, 2012

We will be able to admit a limited number of participants based on applications 
received by the deadline (March 16, 2011).  Participation should be confirmed 
through the payment of course fees on or before April 20, 2012.

Submitted fees will be non-refundable.
