I'm afraid reading that article and knowing how Weinberg made most of that
"January" money he'd talking about made me want to pitch my Starmont Readers
Guide to Robert E. Howard in the trash where it would have resided long ago
if not a gift from an old friend. This has nothing to do with his
credentials as a pulp authority, just some of his business practices, some
of which became known to me as early as 1977. Some of you will find out
some less than savory news before long about what I'm referring to. In the
meantime, if you ever end up in prison with Weinberg, don't drop the soap.
There should be a law that no current employee of Marvel should be allowed
to publicly utter "Howard" or even "Conan". After that law passes, George
W. will be sending shipments of ice water to hell.
