Hello, I'm currently running Redhat 7.1, 2.4.4 kernel. I'm developing a database system on mysql which require tables of size > 2GB, hence i'm thinking of switching over to reiserfs. I currently have only 1 major partition (ext2) mounted on /, i was wondering if there's a way to convert a whole ext2 partition to reiserfs, without resizing, shifting, switching to resiserfs on one, shifting back, etc. Related question: I read that I'll have to include experimental support in the kernel compilation, but i forgot whether i did that for the 2.4.4 kernel, is there a way to check? thanks.
