Yes, I always have backup, can you tell more about this? I don't understand what do
you mean: "create a disk image from blocks 174000 to 17500 (with zeroes at the
unreadable blocks), and try to write it to the position it represents to disk using
"dd"."
Or can I just delete the partition and create a new partition with fdisk and format a
new reiserfs partition?
