Ok - here we go:
#mount /media/platte
#cp ./test.txt /media/platte
cp: cannot create regular file /media/platte/text.txt Permission denied
Options in /etc/fstab as above
#cat /etc/mtab
[...]
/dev/hdc1 /media/platte reiserfs rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,user=mike 0 0
No errors in kernel or other logs
BTW:
SuSE 7.2 with self-compiled Kernel 2.4.5
A friend from me got the same problem with SuSE 6.4 and SuSE Kernel 2.2.14
