Just wondering if anyone has experienced a slowdown
in data transfers since about 2.4.7ac3 ????
I do a nightly backup of /usr to a spare drive using
cpio. This usually takes no more than 1.5 minutes.
Since about ac3 and up to ac7, the transfer time has
increased dramatically to over 10 minutes.
I've switch back to 2.4.7 using the unlink-truncate-rename-rmdir
patch and all is well again.....
