If this is still needed for using VMware I'll need this before
attempting to use kernels > 2.4.8 :-(
I'm currently running 2.4.8 with Vladimirs patch for 2.4.7 and it's
working very well. No stability issues on my side ;-))
What about Chris' updated transaction tracking patch for 2.4.8, see
[reiserfs-list] [PATCH] improve reiserfs O_SYNC and fsync speeds
from 08/14/2001 ? Did it get into the kernel or is it included in one of
the recent patches?
