I tested my RAM using memtest86 but found it to be OK. The problem seems to be somewhere else. Now I'm unable to gunzip tar-balls of size upto 25M - this is ridiculous. > ----- Original Message ----- > Vladimir V. Yeah, I'm now planning to shift over to linux-2.4.10. But I can't find suitable quota patches for this kernel version. Do we need to apply quota patch for reiserfs in kernel-2.4.10 or is it in-built in this kernel ? If we have to apply a patch then where can I find the patch. I tried the quota-2.4.7 patch for 2.4.10 kernel but it didn't get patched cleanly and I got errors during compilation. Thanks and regards, Sumit
