It doesn't mean $25$ a pop to answer questions!

First of all, Apple publishes copious amounts of information about their
products going back a dozen years.

Next, Apple is amply served with a number of newsgroups and lists filled
with hundreds of skilled operators all willing to answer questions and or
guide a user to the appropraite publication/website.

Lastly, it is obvious to me that all I require is the correct combination of
command line arguments with the appropriate utility to recover my reiser
filesystem.

What knowledgebase? There doesn't appear to be an overly large community of
knowledgable helpful people available to support it imho.
