FYI, kernel.org does have patches with r4, eg. http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/akpm/patches/2.6/2.6.12-rc3/2.6.12-rc3-mm2/2.6.12-rc3-mm2.bz2
When 2.6.12 comes up, you might want to take the next 2.6.12-mm1 or the next 2.6.12 reiser patch from namesys.com Anyway, I belive that the really important bugfixing and stabilizng will happen when r4 is included and people will start using it. Just look what merging FUSE did to it. Lots of rapid bugfixing and stabilizng is going on. It might be that -mm is not enough for r4. Best of luck with r4 hacking. nb. don't you think that r4 is cool abbreviation for Reiser 4 ? Regards, Maciej
