Hi,

I can confirm this problem :

Process or System hang during depmod -> need hard shutdown to get out.

Tested on 2.6.13, 2.6.13.2 , 2.6.13.3.

No problem with 2.6.13mm3.

How to reproduce it : Install the latest Nvidia driver.

No logs.
