Hello everyone, first, thanks for making rekonq as awesome as it is :)
Rekonq shows a very annoying behavior when I use a DNS-proxy based adblocking system. Situation: DNS queries on my machine run through a local dnsmasq- service, which simply resolves common ad-serving hosts to 127.0.0.1. That way, ad banners are not show because they are simply not found. And here comes the bug: Rekonq loads an ad-infested page, and when it failes loading a simple banner (as intended!) it throws me to an error page รก la "ad.de.doubleclick.net: Connection refused" (leaving the page, of course. Not as intended! :( ) That is not always the case, i guess it might have something to do with iframes, but I'm not sure. The bug prevents me from using rekonq for Amazon, for example. It does not seem to be a qtwebkit bug, arora is not showing that behavior in the same setup. I am using rekonq from git, compiled today. The bug started appearing soon after 0.2 was released. I hope you can fix that, it's a real showstopper for me (and probably everyone else using DNS-based adblocking) Greetings from Germany, Sascha _______________________________________________ rekonq mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/rekonq
