Hi all, I found a bug as described in the title of this mail. It has been confirmed by some members of the team I chatted with on IRC. Affected sites include Digg, Twitter and Hattrick.org. It doesn't seem to be site specific or a problem affecting other Webkit browsers (except Digg). E.g. Chrome saves and retrieves passwords for Twitter and Hattrick but Rekonq does not.
I think it is an important bug and merits a little more attention from the community. Does anyone else face this problem on any other sites? I guess more info on the bug will help find a fix sooner rather than later.
