Yes, there were changes in the KIO-QNAM integration classes.
Unfortunately an essential patch for kio_http needed to make these
changes work correctly did not make it into KDE 4.6 RC1. That has
already been addressed in the latest KDE 4.6 branch so these issues
should not be present in the next RC or final release of KDE 4.6.
