I honestly do not like that aproach. To me seems like having an obscure, hidden
an non intuitive way to get to the settings of the application.
If our concern is to avoid having to click on "Apply" or "Ok" we could find a
way to automatically apply any change done in the settings window.

Sorry, forgot to explain this.
I'm saying I'd like to move settings in a browser window because I'm
planning to support touch screen devices in the next releases and moving
settings there (letting them change "on the fly") seems to me the
easiest way to work on them with fingers.
