The problem is that no spins are being optimised for some unknown reason.
This is clear from the log file as there are no optimisation print outs from
the grid search or minimisation, and the model selection step is also empty.
This bug is now caught and a RelaxError is thrown to terminate relax at the
first grid_search user function call.
