"The spherical angles {theta, phi} orienting the unique axis of the
diffusion tensor within the PDB frame are defined between"
Similarly for the ellipsoid:
"The angles alpha, beta, and gamma are the Euler angles describing the
diffusion tensor within the PDB frame."
I have to admit that the convention can be confusing and that the
documentation may not be correct. I have been caught looking at the
world from the wrong frame before. To be sure, the raw code using
these angles and the detailed associated function docstrings can be
found in the file maths_fns/direction_cosine.py. Additionally code
for the folding of angles to collapse the symmetries can be found in
the file generic_fns/diffusion_tensor.py, specifically the function
fold_angles(). The problem here wouldn't happen to be inputting the
values from Tensor into relax would it?
