Sorry for being snarky by the way...I just find the whole process frustrating becuase I spend so much time making sure git is constantly buildable and usable, and stuff like this is basically pure pointless overhead. (At least for an unstable module like polkit. For glib rolling a tarball has an actual point because that's when we commit to new API being stable - forever. But that's not the case here.)
Anyways it's also my fault being late on the GNOME release, but help is appreciated.
