Hi RT, I'd like to include the patch attached at bgo 726332, it's related to our beloved IPython plugin, and the full story is here [1].
As a brief resume, recently I've updated this plugin to work with the latest version of IPython (2.0), but the problem is that not all the distributions are providing the latest releases of IPython due to 'bundled deps' issues. As an example: - Fedora 20/rawhide has IPython 0.13.2 - openSUSE 13.1 has IPython 1.2.1 - Ubuntu 13.10 has IPython 0.13.2 but 1.2.1 will be used in Trusty - Arch has IPython 1.2.1 The patch just takes care of the IPython version that is being used - no string changes, no UI changes. Since it's a small change isolated on the IPython plugin's source code, the change does not affect Accerciser itself. In addition to that, I have to say that by having this patch 'in' we will ensure that users won't need to deal with their systems in order to get a working Accerciser+IPython plugin.
