From my perspective, it's better to use a stable release, if one
exists, especially for dependencies that sit outside, or on the border
of the GNOME project itself.
Anyway, I've opened two MR against:
- jhbuild: <https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/jhbuild/merge_requests/49>
- gnome-build-meta:
<https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-build-meta/merge_requests/420>
Ciao,
Emmanuele.

Is there a specific reason why you're depending on an (older)
unstable snapshot, instead of depending on Graphene 1.10.0?

Greetings,
I hereby notify that Mutter will depend on a graphene >= 1.9.3
<https://github.com/ebassi/graphene> [1] very soon. We won't depend
on any specific build flags for graphene.
