Howdy, The okular developers are ready to take over full responsibility for .ps files. And it doesn't seem that kghostview4 works at all.
So it is time to follow through with the plan [1] to "Move to extragear pending GS support in Okular (currently WIP)" However, it seems that kghostview is such bad shape that I suggest moving it directly into unmaintained.
