Hi, here is what I know; To be honest, I don't check the bugs.kde.org, I know about 162793, which you quoted, because its been reported to TT (see comment 7 there). I don't know about the other bug that Rex quoted.
162793 is fixed in Qt, as I wrote, and is separate from the crasher that david put a patch for in qt-copy a week before. I asked our QA team to put it in 441, but its not decided upon just yet (TTId 219800) On Monday 21.
