I'm not sure I will like this idea. First off, it will break many (all?) scripts, including the widely used kdesvn-build. Then, compiling kdesupport has always been great for me so that I didn't have to wonder around look for each individual subpackage (especially on distros that I do not know, or that are quite strict as far as backporting policy goes), but I simply had one more module to checkout/install like any other kde module. I'm ok by treating kdesupport as external dependency, less ok if I can't compile it anymore to build KDE.
