As you can se we are linking to both from http://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-4.8.5.php and the second one has much more info than the first one (80 vs 20) It is true that the first one has a few items that are not in the second one, but i think it's much easier to add those few missing from the first to the second than viceversa.
