I certainly had issues with various Kmail releases since update to cmake 3.9 in ubuntu, so I reported: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382809 At the moment I just solved by disabling parallel builds on ones done on the launchpad infra (default would be 4 threads for most builders), but it would be nice to fix this so I can switch back to speedier builds. I more or less then forgot about it, so cannot comment if any update to cmake since has/would have helped. Regards Rik
