Any chance to pull in 5.6.3 release to the first half of the year? We've already got the first 5.9 beta out, so the release should happen hopefully by the end of May. We should be able to branch 5.6.3 and release sooner than August. That would also help alleviate the work of both a 5.6.3 and 5.10 alpha close together. At this time, 5.6.3 has 405 patches in qtbase, versus 530 that went there for 5.6.2. I'd rather release with fewer than more, as it decreases the chance of being difficult to achieve a release. And the more we wait, the more there will be of them. And it would place 5.6.3 more or less half-way between 5.6.2 (Nov 2016) and 5.6.4 (Feb 2018). The rest seems fine. -- Thiago Macieira - thiago.macieira (AT) intel.com Software Architect - Intel Open Source Technology Center _______________________________________________ Releasing mailing list [email protected] http://lists.qt-project.org/mailman/listinfo/releasing
