Any comments or questions? [17:05:39] <jaheikki3> Ok, then Qt 6.5 status [17:06:10] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.5 snapshot created [17:06:19] <jaheikki3> Target is to publish it later this week [17:07:19] <jaheikki3> And we will turn on automation so that snapshot will be updated automatically after each submodule update in dev [17:07:41] <jaheikki3> Qt 6.5 platform & module freeze will be in effect in a month [17:08:04] <jaheikki3> So it is time to add all new modules in the snapshot [17:08:33] <jaheikki3> So please inform me all new modules for Qt 6.5 asap [17:08:57] <jaheikki3> That's all about 6.5 status at this time. Any comments or questions? [17:09:10] <vohi> sounds good [17:09:25] <vohi> no surprises [17:09:56] <vohi> are we ok with submodule updates in the 6.4 branch, or any risk of that delaying the 6.4.1 branching? [17:11:01] <vohi> or rather, do you plan to branch 6.4.1 once we have the first successful qt5.git submodule update after October 31st - I recall we discussed that once, although perhaps more relevant for 6.5 than for a patch release [17:11:04] <jaheikki3> I think submodule updates are quite ok in 6.4 and so on I don't see big risks for the delay [17:12:04] <jaheikki3> and yes, I'll do the branching from the stable state meaning supmodule updates should be OK at that point [17:12:41] <jaheikki3> Those has been quite stable pretty much all the time in 6.4 [17:12:57] <jaheikki3> And also going better direction in dev as well [17:13:37] <jaheikki3> Ok, It was all at this time so let's end the meeting & have new one tue 8th November at this same time [17:13:48] <jaheikki3> Thanks for your participation, bye! [17:13:59] <frkleint> bye [17:14:17] <vohi> bye, thanks! _______________________________________________ Releasing mailing list Releasing@qt-project.org https://lists.qt-project.org/listinfo/releasing
