New question #264964 on relinux: https://answers.launchpad.net/relinux/+question/264964
I have a custom install in a virtual machine. I want to create a bootable cd from that. I used relinux, and it works. Unfortunately the home directory is not preserved, and it sets up a default user called ubuntu. I currently have a user called creatively "user" in my vm. All the settings and profile data for "user" appear to be ignored in this process. Specific examples of what did not carry over: 1) the xfce4 panel settings 2) firefox does not open to a blank page instead of the default page 3) i have a bash script in the users folder that i want preserved but it was not I am sure there are more, but those are a few concrete examples. can i preserve user settings / profiles / etc with relinux? -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Relinux development, which is an answer contact for relinux. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~relinux-dev Post to : relinux-dev@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~relinux-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
