The git version has it... see http://git.roaringpenguin.com/Remind.git/ (You clone it with "git clone http://git.roaringpenguin.com/Remind.git";) In this version "-a" works as it always has. But if you give it twice: remind -a -a -q ... then timed reminders *are* triggered if their trigger time has not yet passed.
