So I'm playing around with Tags, and trying to decide if they will
do anything for me or not.

Anyway, the man page says:
-y Causes Remind to synthesize a tag for any reminder that lacks a
              TAG clause.

but given this command
rem 31 dec tag birthday msg dad turns [since(1946)]

remind -s1 -y tells me
2012/12/31 * birthday,__syn__98535ac0ce14beb3f47803a94750357d * * dad turns 66

The point is -- remind -y synthesizes a tag for *all* reminders, not
just the ones that lack a TAG clause.

Is this a bug? or a feature? or a mistake in the documentation? or just
my misunderstanding?

Thanks.
