The simplest way is to hard-code the start and stop days and then use
the repeat feature ("*N"). Suppose you want every other Saturday from
15 Feb 2014 through 27 June 2015 inclusive. Then:
REM 2014-02-15 *14 UNTIL 2015-07-27 MSG Every Other Saturday
