Hello, remind-ers. I may have found a potential bug, and I have two feature requests.
I just upgraded my OpenBSD box to 7.7 (REMIND 05.03.05), and afterward, found this error after running both "rem -c+1 -w125" and "rem -p25" commands: /home/brock/.reminders(4698): `%2' substitution sequence should not be used without an AT clause The offending line: REM Jun 9 2026 MSG https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&sca_esv=d985d063023eb21d&q=honk+if+you%27d+rather+be+watching+the+1999&uds=ADvngMiZa8U0f9fevBUz1M0Bj7RqCfNr7T87UIFMtHfcjaAA9EblAnltPfDGaI8eN5 It appears that remind is reading the % symbol after msg inside the URL in my reminder, which is throwing an error. Is this my fault? Should I refrain from putting complex URLs in my reminders? I tried putting the URL in "quotes" and that didn't help. Second, a feature request for rem2html: I run rem2html to export my monthly calendar to my phone as html document. While I'm able to find today's date by scrolling around for it, it still takes a few minutes to scroll around to find the box with today's tasks. Would it be possible to put an html anchor for "today" and/or any other notable days like "last day of the month", etc, so that opening the html document opens right to it? Finally a request for wyrd. As wyrd was abandoned for some time, the person who used to maintain wyrd at OpenBSD stopped, and now that person won't reply to me. Jochen has helpfully resurrected it, but says that he's not an OpenBSD person, so he's not going to support it there. Would anyone volunteer to step up and maintain the wyrd package at OpenBSD? I don't speak a word of OCaml, or else I'd do it. I love remind, rem2html, and wyrd -- I use them every day, and tell people about it whenever I can. Thanks! Robert
