This is where "make install" is bailing out:
cp: cannot overwrite directory /usr/local/share/remind/holidays/uk
with non-directory ../include/holidays/uk
Probably because uk is now a symlink to gb. To fix it, run this command
as root (trust me...)
rm -rf /usr/local/share/remind/
and re-do the installation. Then you should be OK.
