2013 Mac Pro running 10.11.5; ARD v3.8 I can not screen share with any mac via ARD… no matter the OS X version or ARD client version.
When I try it hangs on “Connecting to <mac name>", in console low, it says repeatedly: Remote Desktop [37727]: Could not set scaling factor to -0.054688 So it seemed to be failing when trying to scale the incoming screen… it was set to “Scale to fit the available screen” so I changed it to “Show full size”. Try again, now “Connecting to <mac name>” stays on the screen for a second or two - then nothing appears, and nothing is written in the console log. I can successfully screen share to the same Mac via Finder -> Shared -> Screen Share… connect with admin user/pw. Any ideas? — Mark
