I'm still about - I got snowed under with work towards the end of the year, but I'm back now :) While trying to fix bug #298479, I've ended up making a lot of fixes (and improvements to error reporting), and this might be one of them. I think I've fixed that bug now, and I plan to release a new version as soon as I get confirmation. I'd rather not merge those changes until the fix has been confirmed, but there's a .deb attached to my latest reply in the bug report (https://bugs.launchpad.net/remote-help-assistant/+bug/298479). Could you have a go with the .deb attached to the bug report, or with the latest version if it's released before you get a chance?
