I tried it with the xfree 4.1.0 rpms from redhat 7.2 and also compiled the source myself. I installed kde (2.2.2) and enabled anti-aliasing. Displaying stuff on the first head works fine but as soon as some text is drawn on the second head there is some mess appearing on the screen. I have a Matrox G450 and use the standard driver that comes with xfree (not the one from matrox ftp). I just filed a bug report through the bug-report form on www.xfree86.org.
