Can someone clear up one question for me? Is xft supposed to be started with vertion 4.1 or is it unnecssary? Much of the information on the net is old and I cannot get the straight scoop. How does freetype, xfree86 and xft work together? Where is the latest documentation on these and ttmkfdir.
