I'm going to switch this list to allow posting only by members; you're all familiar with the level of spam we've been receiving, and it seems obvious that it can only get worse as spammers tend to spend most of their time selling address lists.
For those who need to receive mail using a different address than sending, please subscribe both addresses and use the configuration tool to turn off mail to one of the addresses. Much as I dislike this step, I think it will eliminate most non-relevant posting to the list (aside from postings like this one :-). If this goes well, I anticipate transitioning the remaining XFree86 lists sometime in the next couple of days. Thanks for beeing guinea pigs.
