while youre on the subject, I was wondering if non-bmp glyph offsets
are supposed to be supported by xft? (most fonts dont define them
anyway)
You said once before that with xft, there is no need for such support
in the x server, but I am thinking that the x server still deals with
alot of strings, and its having the concept of of non-bmp characters
would be nesesarry for all features to work(cut& paste,resource
strings,title bars, error code description strings, etc)
