Yes, those patches include changes to both pango and gtk+. Note that better pango patches to build against Xft2 and fontconfig are in gnome CVS head; the mostly separate Gtk+ patches to enable Xft for non-pango text are only in that patch. I'll be cleaning this up in the next couple of days.
