Who are we?
A small tribe of designers, more interested in visual play, animation, chasing wild Bores (erstwhile boar) and such pastoral activities based out of Calcutta, India.
The 'Interesting' Quotient of a project draws us to it. The whole idea is to innovate. Both with the solutions we are asked to create for clients, as also, some home grown solutions (we call them games n play) we are developing on our own. Part of our own effort to make visual play pay.
We believe in creating mundane magic and for scalability depend on Vectors. We do feel the need of the right witch doctor.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who's discovered that God was a coder too and thus he/she knows that with code, one can create! Is an Actionscript Druid* (or is one well on the way to becoming one) and starts breaking up effects into codes in their head as soon as they see it (An actionscript Guru will do too). Hacks, whacks, and whisks codes and feels it's a great way to play. Is a designer at heart and would also love to visual play and create magic. Is willing to share expertise and knowledge.
We seek such a person to collaborate, guide, explore with us on an ongoing basis and who knows if its mutually satisfying be a part of the team. Though we believe in collaborating with anyone in any part of the globe, we'd prefer someone close at home, in Calcutta...for the moment.
A professional degree is not a criteria...an ability to think freely and to create and collaborate is. Would help if the person is multilingual (read codes n computer languages), and can raise the bar with XML, toast to the occasion with PHP or even whip a cocktail in C#.
The person is entitled to his/her own bottle of magic potion and any fear of the sky falling on one's head wont be held against him or her.
*Druid- A member of an order of priests in ancient Gaul and Britain who appear in Welsh and Irish legend as prophets and sorcerers.
