Responsibilities:
- Design and develop
firmware for disk array products
- Development efforts
would be focus on storage adapters, volume configuration and RAID
controller areas.
- Candidate must be able
to take design decisions and be able to lead teams technically.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of
experience in design/development of firmware/software products
- Ideal candidate would
have worked on development of embedded systems
- Should have been
involved in designing products
- Very strong C or C++
programming experience.
- Storage experience
would be desired for candidates applying for this position, preferably
in iSCSI, virtualization, SAS, volume manager areas.
- Well versant with
programming in unix environment with a very good knowledge of UNIX
development tools
- Good knowledge of
debuggers.
- Knowledge of Storage
subsystems, RAID, SAN, Fibre Channel, SATA, infiniBand and SCSI would
be highly desirable.
- Knowledge of UML/OO
concepts would be a definitive plus.
Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or
equivalent. C, C++ programming language courses
